Digging Deeper in Nyamata!

This post features photos and captions by students.

Starting our lovely walk to AVEH this morning at 7:15! It’s fun to see all of the hustle and bustle in the center of Nyamata, the city we are staying in.
Alana hanging out with Patrique, a nine-year-old girl, at AVEH right before lunch time.
This is the hole being dug to dispose of the dirty water from washing clothes and cleaning. It is on track for a whopping 20 meters deep! We are helping out by transferring the dirt outside of the compound.
Kenny, our leader, and Izzy working hard!
Alex and Georgia playing with some of the kids after lunch.
A beautiful view of Kigali, the country’s capital, as we came back from a trip to the market.
