Sunday, July 7

We did not have plans with CECHE or AVEH on Sunday. Instead, the group lounged around the house and took a much-needed break. Some of the group went to breakfast at a local coffee shop. In the afternoon a man we met in Kigali, Maurice, came to the guest house to teach us how to make bracelets.

Monday, July 8

Today, our schedule was back to normal. We spent the morning at AVEH moving dirt and playing with the kids. Heaven got to try out Ella’s AirPods. He is a group favorite. In the afternoon we went to CECHE to glue the pieces of our chair together.
